¿Por qué no se dice 'The most cheapest' en inglés?
En inglés, los adjetivos cortos (de una o dos sílabas) forman el superlativo añadiendo -est: cheap → the cheapest. No se usa la palabra most con estos adjetivos. Decir the most cheapest es un doble superlativo que no existe en inglés correcto.

'Smart' es un adjetivo corto (una sílaba), así que el superlativo es 'the smartest'. No se usa 'most' con adjetivos que ya llevan '-est'.
Truco para recordar
¡Una sola marca de superlativo a la vez! Los adjetivos cortos usan -est (the cheapest, the tallest). Los adjetivos largos usan most (the most expensive, the most interesting). Nunca combines ambos: 'the most + -est' es siempre un error. Si el adjetivo ya tiene '-est', no necesita 'most'.
